March Break reinforces need for National Meal Program

Lots of the kids we serve struggled with access to nutritious food this month.  March Break causes all sorts of disruptions in routines, none the least of these is the access to food kids have when the go to a meal program in their school.  For some of these kids, March Break actually prevents them from getting the food they need to help them through a difficult time in life.

We need to create a national meal program for kids living in poverty and other difficult situations in Canada. More must be done so that kids don't suffer when schools are closed (and not all schools have meal programs). While we build this National Meal Program, we still need to feed kids who are hungry each day.  To join us, please click here.

Thank you!

Our commitment to donors and to the kids we serve is to be accountable, transparent, ethical, and resourceful.

We are parents, grandparents, sisters, and brothers. We are teachers, volunteers, nutritionists, and doctors. We are your neighbours, and we are your friends. We believe in the strength of a national network of concerned people who can support kids in need.

We are a diverse group with a common goal:

Show Kids How Much We Care About Them!
